Since 2007 I have been operating as an independent lawyer providing a wide range of legal services on the territory of the Czech Republic, focussing particularly on Zlín, Kroměříž and Přerov regions. From 2001 I practised law as an articled clerk to the law firm of Mgr. Marie Strakošová in Zlín. I graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University Brno in 2003. I defended the thesis “Bill of exchange and its relation to contractual obligations”. The thesis, attendance of several training seminars on bill of exchange law and the legal practice concerning drawing and collection of bills of exchange formed my specialization on bill of exchange law which is commonly used in practice. In 2008 I defended the doctoral thesis (rigorosum) “Set-off of claims”, which contributed to my further orientation towards the issue of claims and debt. Some parts of the thesis were published in the magazine Business Law no. 2/2007 and no. 7-8/2008.
